The date 1969 was arrived at from official building plans with a building permit dated 23 July 1968. It is assumed that building commenced as soon as possible after the permit was given. Photos supplied by Renee (Ron) Knight and taken from inside the hall on 12 February 1970 however do not show the doorways for these extensions which today exist and which would have been necessary to gain access to the additional rooms. Beric Sneddon (youth member at the time) is of the opinion the third stage was completed in late 1971
