| JOEY MOB |
Joey Scouts had their first meeting in Berowra on 10th May 1995. We started with the following 11 Joeys:
All Joeys were invested on 21st June 1995 by Viv Paulson (Regional Commissioner for Joey Scouts) and Brian Engert (Group leader). Meetings were held from 4.30pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday afternoons. We commenced with two Warranted Leaders Debbie "Bingami" Sharp and Ann "Kyeema" Cosier as assistant Leader. Chris Woods also came along each week as an "adult helper". Lyndall Brown and Jonathan Woods, two of our Venturers, were also helping as part of their Service Awards. They stayed for approximately six months. Adele Ahearn, a Group Adviser with 1st Berowra, came along each week for the first 12 months to help us in the starting up of the Mob. We have also had Ben Cole and Gregory Sherlock assisting us as Joey Scout Helpers. |
